I found some great deals on new party favors!

Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009

I look back at my wedding day and see the difference in how things have changed in decorations and how great they look. When I started browsing the internet I found so many beautiful wedding and reception accessories for almost any type of wedding you could imagine. If you want a beach party wedding you can find beach party accessories like beautiful little seashells and starfish, just to name a couple. Just researching you could find great ideas for a summer or spring wedding. I found very exceptional new wedding selections for seasonal ceremonies. I know the winter wonderland wedding supplies were absolutely exquisite with that gorgeous sparkle of the winter season. Did you know that some couples actually have a winter wedding outside? That sounds beautiful, but it seems just a little too modern, and too cold for my taste. I think I would be just fine with an indoor winter wedding and reception. The best place for a winter wedding would be in a setting with a warm cozy fire and warm atmosphere.

Autumn is a beautiful time of the year and my favorite, and it would be a great time to have a wedding. An autumn wedding would be so beautiful because of the beautiful scenery with the colors changing and awesome fall scents in the air. My wedding day was so long ago that the choices we had were being married in the church or running away and getting married. Times have changed so much that you can plan your wedding day to be what you want it to be. I’ve heard of weddings where the location is out of state or even the country and all the friends and famliy fly to that location to have the wedding ceremony. It’s like having a family elopement. There are also a great new favor selection, from everything from traditional to destination weddings that you can buy for your reception.

Soon my daughter will be getting married and I have been helping her to prepare for her country western wedding and reception. I would of never guessed that a country western wedding would be so great until I helped my daughter plan hers. She found cake toppers that have a western theme to them, plus everything she needed for her bridal table, including western champagne flutes. They looked stylished and fashionable. To make the atmosphere more western she put some hay bales, set up barbecue grills around and even hired a country western band. She plans to string lights and lanterns everywhere outside for her big country reception party. She bought cute little cowboy hats to use as place card holders and added wildflowers in little watering cans as the centerpieces. They’ve arranged to rent a dude ranch for this event, which really surprised me, because, I didn’t know you could even do that. She ordered quite a few wedding accessories online that will go perfectly with the country western theme. She ordered delightful new wedding favors for all their friends and family and cowboy hats for the bride and groom.

It’s looks like when this is finished being planned, that it will be a big family barbecue with dear friends. It sounds like it will be a fantastic time for all the guests. They even planned to have some country western line dancing in the barn. So, I’ve decided to get on the band wagon and go shopping for a pair of cowboy boots, hat and blue jeans and get ready to celebrate this wedding the country way. This wedding is going to be the wedding of the year and probably won’t be forgotten for a long time. With our anniversary coming up soon, I may take my daughters idea and have a country western renewal ceremony and reception.

Choosing a summer wedding favor!

Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009

I didn’t have as many problems planning an outside wedding as I thought I would. It wasn’t as expensive as an indoor wedding would have been. Since we had the flowers and mother nature everywhere, I didn’t have to spend a lot of money on decorations. The first thing on my agenda was to find that perfect place to hold our summer wedding and reception party. Instead of having our wedding ceremony and reception on the beach or in a garden, I chose to have it in the park. I found several perfect parks that would work fine for our wedding day.

Since I never planned a wedding like this before, I needed all the help I could get. If you’re going to have your ceremony outside, it’s a good idea to have an alternative plan just in case the weather turns on you. So we arranged to have a tent set up to move the ceremony into if necessary, just as a precaution.

We had canopies arranged for our reception and barring bad weather, planned to be wed under a lovely trellis. I only had to get decorations for my bridal table and the reception tables for our friends and family. With the park as our main theme, I basically had to make sure I had our table settings and maybe throw in a few extra bouquets of flowers. By using artificial flowers I thought we may be able to avoid any univited guests, like bees. You couldn’t tell they were artificial they were so beautiful, they looked like the real deal. Although planning wasn’t as difficult a chore as I thought, there were quite a few things to take care of. Like, making sure there were citronella candles all around, rest rooms close by and making sure our cake was kept cool until ready to be cut.

There was a variety of accessories available for the outdoor reception. I had little park bench place card holders at each table setting, and little citronella votive candles in glass globes with a nice flower arrangement as our centerpieces. I found very decorative favor boxes and used them to package the chrome bottle openers we bought for our friends and family as a summer favor. For our wedding table, of course, was our fabulous wedding cake with a very unique wedding cake topper.

I found it while browsing online for my other wedding accessories, and fell in love with it. They were customized toppers for the wedding couple. All I had to do was send in a head shot picture of me and my fiance and they custom made a bride and groom cake topper with our faces. How could I ask for a better wedding keepsake than that? Everyone at the reception had something to say about how unique it was. All the wonderful accessories I ordered for our reception and wedding ceremony came from the same place, including our champagne flutes and silver cake set. It was amazing all the super accessories you can buy online.

It was the perfect wedding and reception, just like I had hoped for. Plan B never had to be used, since the weather was so beautiful, and thankfully it remained that way through the whole evening. We had a wonderful DJ that I’m sure, kept the music going long after we left for our honeymoon. There were many good comments about our beautiful wedding ceremony and fun filled reception party we had. I’m so glad I decided to go with a wedding in the park. If we should decide somewhere down the line to have a renewal wedding ceremony, I think I’d like to have it in the park again.

When you’re looking for a wedding party favor…

I put a lot of thought about the theme for our wedding ceremony and reception. I checked on three different themes, beach, garden and country western. But on the other hand there is a lot to be said for tradition. Destination weddings also sounds like a great idea. I thought about the tropical shores of Hawaii or the excitement of Vegas might be a great idea. I would love a tropical island wedding. I soon put that idea to rest, there are too many people on our guestlist for a wedding like that.
Then I thought about a winter themed wedding. But since we were getting married in the summer months, I didn’t think I should go with a snow scene. So I decided to go with every young girls dream of marrying a prince, and chose to have a storybook wedding, just like in the fairy tales I read as a child. There were so many accessories and reception supplies to help with my fantasty wedding. There were even special wedding cakes you could buy that fit in perfectly with the theme. So I finally made up my mind. I wanted a fairy tale wedding and reception.
I had no problem finding the perfect wedding invitations online. There were also plenty of accessories and supplies to pick out for my storybook wedding. I bought the most beautiful wedding gown I could find at the bridal shop and had my bridesmaids and little flower girl in exquisite floor length dresses, all with tiaras. The groom (my prince) and all of the groomsmen and ring boy wore tuxes that made them all look so elegant and sophisticated. I could feel all eyes on me as I walked down the aisle, and half way expected them to bow to their new queen. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding ceremony. The accessories I bought added so much glamour and style to our storybook wedding. Rose petals were falling all around us as we were leaving the church. Instead of a limo, we had a horse drawn carriage waiting outside.
A real castle wouldn’t haved looked as good as our reception hall with all of the fantastic accessories and decorations. I found everything to fit the ocassion from decorations to wedding favors. I had every unique wedding favor done up in storybook themed favor boxes. I can’t believe all the accessories I was able to get for my fairy tale reception. They had storybook champagne flutes and little coaches for place card holders. I couldn’t have pulled this off without the wonderful accessories they have for fairytale weddings.
Our guests all had a wonderful time and were very impressed with all the lovely storybook décor. One of my guests said it was the most beautiful ceremony she’d ever been too. If I do say so myself, it was quite spectacular. I’m so glad that I chose this theme and found so many accessories to help me make it happen. Since this was a special day in my life, I wanted everything to be special. Everything at our reception was in a fairytale theme, even our cake, so I wanted themed cheap wedding favors too. I wanted our guests to leave with something that would remind them of this special day. A special something to remind them of sharing this very special ceremony with us.
I had a lot of thank you note to take care of when we got back from our honeymoon. There was even thank you notes available in storybook theme. I wouldn’t mind having a fairytale anniversary renewal ceremony.

Making the right choice when it comes to wedding gifts

Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009

I debated a long time before deciding on what type of wedding ceremony and reception I wanted to have. I checked on three different themes, beach, garden and country western. But on the other hand there is a lot to be said for tradition. I also thought about a fantastic destination wedding. How great would it be to have a ceremony and reception in Las Vegas, or maybe take it all the way to Hawaii? The islands of Hawaii would definitely be my first choice. I soon put that idea to rest, there are too many people on our guestlist for a wedding like that.
But there were a lot of other ideas to work with, including a winter wonderland wedding. But since we were getting married in July, that just didn’t seem appropriate. So my decision was made. We can declare a royal wedding.
I had no problem finding the perfect wedding invitations online. Then I started choosing my wedding and reception accessories and supplies. My wedding dress was absolutely gorgeous and the bridesmaids and flower girl had beautiful dresses that were floor length. My handsome fiance and all of his wedding party looked so elegant in their tuxes, even the little ring boy looked like royalty. As I made my way down the aisle to my handsome prince Charming I felt like I was living a dream. Everything about our ceremony was exquisite. All of the gorgeous décor only added to the beauty of our ceremony. Rose petals were falling all around us as we were leaving the church. We were driven to the reception in a horse drawn carriage, just like royalty.
There were accessories that helped me to make our reception appear as elegant as a king’s castle. I found everything to fit the ocassion from decorations to wedding favors. I even found adorable boxes for each and every wedding reception favor. I was amazed at all of the themed accessories there were for our fairy tale reception. I decided on little coaches for place card holders and the gorgeous place card holders that looked just like Cinderella coach. They just have everything I could possibly need for the perfect fairy tale wedding and reception.
Everyone had a fabulous time and I received a lot of compliments on the décor. One of our guests stated that she’d never seen such a gorgeous ceremony as ours. If I do say so myself, it was quite spectacular. I think I made the right choice when I chose this theme, and I’m glad I could find so many great accessories to help. I wanted this to be special for our friends and family too, the way it was for us. I made sure their wedding favor ideas were of a storybook theme, just like our wedding cake and other accessories. I wanted to give our guests more than just favors, that’s why I chose gifts that could also be used as souvenirs. Something that could hold the memory of today for them as well as for us.
After the honeymoon was over, there was the job of filling out thank you notes for all of our guests. Would you believe I even found fairytale thank you notes for everyone? I wouldn’t mind having a fairytale anniversary renewal ceremony.

When you’re looking for a wedding party favor…

Tuesday, December 1st, 2009

It took me a while before I could decide on a theme for our ceremony and reception party. I checked on three different themes, beach, garden and country western. But I also considered having a traditional wedding. I also thought about a fantastic destination wedding. I thought about the tropical shores of Hawaii or the excitement of Vegas might be a great idea. I would love a tropical island wedding. But then I thought about all the people that would be disappointed that they couldn’t be there, and I had to toss that idea in the dumpster.
There were other ideas too, like a gorgeous winter theme ceremony. But since we were getting married in July, that just didn’t seem appropriate. I decided to go with the last, but not least of the wedding theme ideas, and have a fairy tale ceremony and reception. There were so many accessories and reception supplies to help with my fantasty wedding. The bakery even had wedding cakes that worked out with my idea. So I finally made up my mind. We can declare a royal wedding.
Through online shopping I found lovely story book invitations. Next I started checking out all the wedding accessories and reception supplies I would need. I picked out floor length dresses for the girls in my wedding party, and found an exquisite gown for myself. My handsome fiance and all of his wedding party looked so elegant in their tuxes, even the little ring boy looked like royalty. When I walked down the aisle towards my husband to be I really felt like I was royalty. Everything about our ceremony was exquisite. The flowers, the candles, and the gorgeous satin bows on the end of the pews really set the whole thing off. After the ceremony everyone started shouting and throwing red and white rose petals our way. Instead of a limo, we had a horse drawn carriage waiting outside.
Our reception was a total success, with all the storybook accessories, it looked like the inside of a castle. I was able to find all the accessories I needed for this special themed wedding and some very lovely wedding favors for our friends and family. I even found adorable boxes for each and every wedding favor. There were so many accessories to choose from to help with our storybook reception. They had storybook champagne flutes and little coaches for place card holders. They just have everything I could possibly need for the perfect fairy tale wedding and reception.
Our guests all had a wonderful time and were very impressed with all the lovely storybook décor. One of our guests stated that she’d never seen such a gorgeous ceremony as ours. I know I was impressed and it was my wedding. I think I made the right choice when I chose this theme, and I’m glad I could find so many great accessories to help. I wanted this to be special for our friends and family too, the way it was for us. Everything at our reception was in a fairytale theme, even our cake, so I wanted themed favors for wedding too. I felt that a momento of this special day would mean more than any other gift I could give them. Something that could hold the memory of today for them as well as for us.
I had a lot of thank you note to take care of when we got back from our honeymoon. Would you believe I even found fairytale thank you notes for everyone? I wonder if we could do this again for our anniversary?
