I started shopping for my themed accessories and supplies as soon as we were sure we were having a beach wedding. First things first, I bought our beach themed wedding invitations. The little ring boy wore a white cotton shirt and khaki shorts, and our flower girl was so cute in a light fabric sundress. All of the wedding party looked great in their wedding attire and the flower arrangements for our bouquets were the most gorgeous I’ve ever seen.

I wish now,with all the photos of our wedding being taken, that I would have bought two albums for wedding, instead of only one. I planned to have pictures of all the fantastic decorations at our wedding and reception and photos of every guest that attended. I especially wanted photos of us taking our vows under the beautiful flowered arch and satin canopy we had put up. Directly after the ceremony we left to change into more suitable beach wear for the reception party. In fact a few of the bridesmaids and groomsmen also left to change, while others just wore swim suits under their wedding attire. We told all of our guests to dress casually.

We picked January for the wedding day since I have always wanted a wedding that had a winter motif.
